After years of engineering and real-world testing at Minn Kota, we’re happy to report that much of the focus for the Ulterra has been dedicated to improving the power and reliability of its auto stow and deploy functionality. Minn Kota has replaced the belt driven stow/deploy motor with a “worm drive” transaxle for stronger and smoother operation.
After testing it out on the water ourselves and a comprehensive review of the new drive system, it’s clear that the latest Ulterra is ready for some heavy lifting.
Make no mistake, the Ulterra is no one trick pony. The Ulterra QUEST features Minn Kota's "Advanced GPS" technology (previously i-Pilot/i-Pilot Link) coupled with a redesigned wireless remote offers more auto-navigation features such as "Drift Mode" and "Dodge”. Tap into Minn Kota's One Boat Network to control your motor, enable GPS auto-navigation, mapping features and imaging from select Humminbird fish finders or the updated smartphone app.
Humminbird’s fully integrated Dual Spectrum CHIRP provides even more clarity, accuracy and detail than ever before. The Ulterra QUEST is also available with integrated MEGA Side and Down Imaging.
Minn Kota Ulterra QUEST standard features: Auto-stow/deploy with power trim, multifunction foot pedal, wireless remote (it floats!), Advanced GPS technology, Digital Maximizer, Composite Shaft, Weedless Wedge 2 prop, Bluetooth, Smartphone App and a Two Year Warranty.
